Eric
Medine
Eric Medine is a Los Angeles area artist working primarily
in multimedia and video art. He received his BFA from
the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1996 and
his Masters degree at the the Otis School of Art and Design
in Los Angeles, California in 2006.
"My current work explores the relation between
an artwork and the receiver by shifting location, perception,
and narrative.
Using time-based technologies such as video and
3D animation to deform the visual characteristics of
cartesian perspective, I blur the line between a conventional
environment and a fantastic, deconstructed location."
